MEET KATIE SCHUCKMAN
Loveland has been my home since I was nine years old. I've created lifelong memories and friendships here and truly love our community. Growing up here, I attended St. Columban until 8th grade and then went to St. Ursula for high school.
I completed my undergraduate degree in Biology at Ohio State University, and returned home to pursue a career in nursing. I obtained both my BSN and MSN-FNP at the University of Cincinnati, and started my career as a nurse at Cincinnati Children's Hospital, where I am able to help children and families every day. My husband, Brian, and I—both Loveland natives—chose to raise our family here because we believe in this community and its schools.

PRIORITIES
STUDENT HEALTH & SAFETY
Creating a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment is paramount for student success. When students feel secure— both physically and emotionally—they are better able to focus on learning, build strong relationships, and grow into confident, capable individuals.
SUPPORTING PUBLIC SCHOOLS
Ensuring that all students have access to a high-quality education starting at the preschool and kindergarten level is essential for building a strong foundation for their future. This involves advocating for adequate funding, resources, and teacher support, as well as implementing programs that cater to diverse learning needs.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Building strong partnerships with families, local organizations, and businesses significantly enhances the overall educational experience for students. These relationships help bridge the gap between the classroom and the broader community, making learning more relevant and impactful.
